Displaying CulturCube Sets

Not a small amount of time and effort went into designing CulturCube keepsake boxes and indeed, finding a fabricator to faithfully execute the vision was a stroke of good fortune and a story unto itself. Although embellished for graphical effect, nested within the celestial imagery of our box tops is the view of night sky as it appeared directly above the geographic center of Africa's land mass, at the moment our then youngest grandchild was born As originally designed, the elliptical arc, coordinate and constellation lines, as well as the stars of the constellations all were to be highlighted in white and debossed (indented). However, to align the printed and debossed graphical elements within the 0.5 millimeter tolerance would have required them to be done by hand. Hand printing and debossing 1,200 boxes would not have been feasible, given the cost to produce our already fairly luxurious bespoke packaging. In the end, technical constraints notwithstanding, we were able to come up with a design that captured the inspiration of our granddaughter's birth (Note: the box shown above is a retail display version).
.
Not surprisingly, we're almost always contacted by supporters, with comments on the lush design and quality of these magnetic boxes. And here's an idea for those who may want to display their CulturCubes and boxes together:
Wooden plate stands are an inexpensive, easy-to-find option for displaying CulturCube sets together with the keepsake box. Available at Michael's craft shops and elsewhere, the 12" size works perfectly. When mounted onto plate stands, the keepsake box can be left closed to show the beautiful lid design and open when you wish, or left opened to show off the CulturCubes (Note: the box shown above is a retail display version).
